At some point, you stopped planning the wedding you were “supposed” to have and started imagining the one that felt right. Intention over expectation. Experience over tradition. A place that feels just as meaningful as the promises you’re about to make.
You can feel it in your gut:
this is right.
You get towering mountain views, alpine lakes, wide open valleys, quiet forest roads, and the kind of sunsets that make everything go still for a second. Whether you’re dreaming about eloping in Grand Teton National Park or heading somewhere that feels a little more off the radar, Wyoming gives you space to create a day that actually feels like you.
You know this is the kind of day you want. Now you’re wondering how to make it real.
You don’t need to be a hardcore hiker or outdoors expert to elope in Wyoming. You just have to want something meaningful and slow enough to focus on what actually matters: the two of you.
One of the best parts?
Think of me as your dog-obsessed, go-to photographer for helping you figure out the how without losing the why.
My dogs go everywhere with me — hikes, road trips, even the bathroom — so your pup is always welcome. And whether your day includes dogs, desert views, sunrise coffee, or a post-vow brewery stop, I’ll map the details, scout the views, and build a timeline that feels effortless instead of overwhelming.
You stay present. I’ll handle the rest.
We originally booked Mandie for engagement photos before we knew a wedding date and fell in LOVE with her skills in photography!! So much so, I immediately booked her as soon as we knew our wedding date and venue. Mandie is also a huge animal lover which was amazing because we wanted our dog, Duke, to be apart of our wedding journey. Mandie has such an amazing personality and makes taking photos such a fun and natural experience. She is truly on board for any fun ideas or photo ops that are on your mind for your photos! I truly highly recommend booking with Mandie!!
"Not to pick favorites, but Mandie was one of our favorite vendors for our wedding!!"

I’m here through it all — brainstorming, problem-solving, hype talks included — so when the day comes, it feels easy, intentional, and very you.
What that looks like for you:
Now add your dog stealing the show and photos in your hands faster than you can say “treat.” That’s all part of the experience too.
We have been talking about crafting a day that feels like you + your life. And your dog is a huge part of it. That means we’ll find the perfect dog-friendly trail and one that fits their abilities.
We will even make room for moments with just the two of you (while your pup takes a break and sniffs everything in sight). You get the adventure and the breathing room.
Because I’m just as excited as you are! You’ve just had one of the best days of your life and I know the wait to relive it through photos feels like forever. Your sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours, while your dog’s still snoozing from the big day and your head’s still replaying every moment.
Whether you want to send them to your parents, post them on Instagram, or just stare at them on your camera roll 37 times in a row—I got you.

"Mandie is the absolute best photographer we have ever worked with! My husband and I have been through many photographers through our relationship and none of them have been as fantastic as Mandie! She amazing at what she does behind the lens. We were SO lucky to have found her just a few months before our wedding and had the honor of having her be our wedding photographer! I will forever be choosing her to photograph any milestones in our family from now on! Nothing but positives to say about Mandie! Much much much love!"

Yes. Places like Grand Teton National Park do have guest limits, and those numbers can vary depending on where you choose. Some spots allow larger groups, while others are designed for something much smaller so the space actually feels calm and not overcrowded.

Yes—there will more than likely be some kind of permit process depending on where you choose to elope in Wyoming. Places like Grand Teton National Park and other public lands each have their own rules, timelines, and application windows, and some locations can book up faster than you’d expect.
It’s always a good idea to have a couple of backup options in mind but you don’t have to figure that out on your own. I’ll walk you through what’s required and when to apply
Late May through early October is prime time. Trails and ceremony spots are generally open, the weather’s more reliable, and the light? Chef’s kiss. Summer is warm and fully accessible, but it’s busy.
Fall is my personal favorite—cooler temps, crisp mornings, fewer crowds, and the mountains show off those golden hues.
Spring and winter can be magical but also unpredictable, with snow lingering and some spots inaccessible.
Another tip: Weekdays during those months tend to be quieter if you want more privacy and less crowding at popular spots
Honestly… we roll with it. Weather is one of those things you can’t control, but it also tends to create some of the most memorable, emotional, and you moments of the day. Fog rolling in, wind in your hair, a little rain—it can make everything feel even more intentional and alive.
That said, I’m not just showing up and hoping for the best. I’m always keeping an eye on forecasts leading up to your day and we’ll have a flexible plan in place. That might mean adjusting timing, shifting locations, or building in backup options if needed.
Yes! Pets aren’t allowed on trails or ceremony spots inside Grand Teton National Park, but they’re welcome in parking areas and overlooks. If you want your pup in the ceremony or photos, nearby spots like The Wedding Tree in Bridger‑Teton National Forest are dog-friendly with epic views—so no one misses out on the adventure!
Totally especially if you book MUAs and stylists like ones from Wild Brides Backcountry—these amazing humans go on the adventure with you, offering touch-ups along the way and making sure you look (and feel) amazing from first step to last kiss. No matter the trail, wind, or desert dust, they’ve got your back.
