Your Elopement Photographer
HEY HEY! I’M MANDIE!
With 7 years of traditional wedding experience, I’ve seen a few things. Traditional weddings and elopements are different animals, but both bring unexpected twists that need quick thinking and solid backup plans. That’s where I come in.
I’m more than just your hype woman. I come prepared with backup plans A through Z, know which trails are dog-friendly, and can guide you to both epic overlooks and the best tacos in town. My job? To make your desert elopement easy, fun, and unforgettable—no matter what the day throws our way.

Stop Shortchanging Your Story
Maybe you’ve been scrolling through elopement packages and your eye caught that little “2 hours of coverage” option. At first glance, it might feel tempting—short, sweet, and maybe even budget-friendly.
But here’s the truth: two hours is way too cramped to capture your story the way it deserves.
Elopements aren’t meant to feel rushed, like you’re checking boxes on a list. They’re meant to feel like you— intentional and connected. Don’t settle for a two-hour timeline. Your vows and marriage aren’t fast food—so why treat your wedding day like a drive-thru? Let’s talk about what happens when you give you day room to breathe.

Hiking Time Eats Into Your Day
Some of the best elopement spots aren’t right next to the parking lot—they make you work for it. And honestly? That’s half the adventure. Take Moab for example. Arches National Park has specific sites where you can exchange vows, but you’re not limited to just those spots for your photos.
Now, let’s say your heart is set on Delicate Arch (and I don’t blame you—it’s stunning). The tricky part? You can’t actually say your vows there, and it’s a 3.2-mile hike that takes about 40 minutes each way. All of that time comes out of your photo coverage. If you’ve only booked two hours, suddenly you’re sprinting through one of the most meaningful days of your life.
When you give yourself a bigger timeline, you’re not just getting more photos, you’re getting an experience. You’re giving your day room to breathe. You can hike, take in the views, actually be present with each other, and still have time for all the moments that make your elopement feel like yours.

More Than Just a Few Posed Photos
Think about why you chose to elope: not for the checklist, not for the formality, but for the chance to put the focus back where it belongs—on you two. That story isn’t just the five minutes of vows. It’s the laughter while you get ready, the wind tangled in your hair as you hike, the tears during private vows, the quiet clinking of beers after sunset.
Two hours barely scratches the surface.
With full-day coverage, I can capture the whole story not just the ceremony. I notice the little things you might miss in the moment: the way your partner’s eyes light up, the laughter over an inside joke, the golden sunlight hitting just right. You’ll have photos that take you back to every part of the day, not just a highlight reel. Ready to give your elopement the time it deserves? Space for Adventure + Intention
Eloping isn’t just about the ceremony, it’s about the experience. In places like Moab, that could mean watching sunrise over Delicate Arch, saying your vows at Park Avenue, wandering the streets of town for coffee or a bite to eat, and finishing your day with a sunset at Dead Horse Point.
That doesn’t happen in two hours.
That happens when you give your story the space it deserves. An 8-hour or two-day elopement lets you soak it all in—sunrise to sunset, or split across days for a slower, more intentional vibe with more jaw dropping locations.

Flexibility for Weather + Crowds
Elopements are meant to be intimate, adventurous, and completely yours—but let’s be honest. Sometimes things don’t always go to plan. Weather shifts, trails take longer than expected, trails unexpectedly close, and sometimes crowds show up right when you wanted a private moment. Two hours of coverage? That barely gives you time to breathe. Why would you want to feel rushed and stressed on your most meaningful day?
When you give yourself a longer day (or even a multi-day experience) you create space to roll with the unexpected. You can pivot if a trail takes longer than expected, pause to soak in a quiet moment and let the crowds thin out, or change locations without worrying about the clock.

Travel Between Locations
One of the best things about elopements is the freedom to explore multiple locations in a single day. It gives you the variety that I’m sure you’re craving. But here’s the reality: traveling between spots eats up more time than most couples realize.
Two hours of coverage? That’s barely enough to snap a few portraits at one location, let alone capture your full story across multiple locations.
Let’s talk Moab elopements. Let’s say you want your day to start with sunrise photos and vows at the Window Arches in Arches National Park but you want some photos in Canyonlands and sunset photos at Dead Horse Point State Park. While each location is absolutely stunning,:
- Arches and Canyonlands are about an hour apart, depending on which trailheads or viewpoints you choose.
- Think about time for parking and accessibility- is it a walk or hike?
- Time it takes to settle in for photos at each spot
And faster than I can sprint to pet a puppy, your timeline is gone! Trying to hit multiple epic locations in that time is a recipe for stress, not memories. Longer coverage gives you the breathing room to truly experience your day. Save yourself the panic and book more time.

Why Settle for Less?
Your elopement is your story and it deserves time to unfold. Maybe you’re picturing sunrise at Arches, a quiet vow exchange at Canyonlands, and ending the day stargazing in Moab. No matter the location, two hours isn’t enough to capture it all. That’s where I come in.
I’m not just your photographer, I’m your co-creator.
I’ll help you create a day that fits your vibe and flows effortlessly, guiding you through everything from permits and locations to timing and photo moments, so you can enjoy every part of your adventure without stress.
